summer learning journey week 1-3

I am interested in the SPCA charity. They raise money for poor pets or put them up for adoption that can’t owners that care for them. They save over 40K animals a year and 2.5K schools have access to visit the SCPA. SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Curttily to Animals they also make books when they get inspired by an animal like a stinky dog they could get idea form.

If someone sees an animal on the road or there owners doing something bad then this is what they want you to do.
Capture and contain it with care. If you see a stray cat or dog, try to capture and contain
the animal if circumstances permit. ...
  1. Call the authorities. ...
  2. Check for ID. ...
  3. Get the pet scanned for a microchip. ...
  4. Take pets with no ID to an animal shelter. ...
  5. Post fliers.

  1. Hi Mark!

My name is Matilda. I live in Auckland, and this summer I am working as one of the blog commenters that will be reading and commenting on your blog posts. I am really looking forward to reading everything you post for the summer learning journey, and getting to know you a bit better!

Nice work on this post! The SPCA do such good work to help sick and hurt animals. They are definitely a good charity to learn about!

You have done well to find out so much about them. I didn’t know that schools are able to go visit them. Thank you for teaching me this! Have you ever gone to visit the SPCA?

I like how you wrote about what to do if you find an animal that needs help. It’s important that people know what they can do to help! Just make sure you include the link to where you found this information! Or you could try writing it in your own words :)

Keep up the awesome work! I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts!

    Matilda :)
